When Elizaabeth came into this world,
Love's magic came with her.
Her Mommy wanted babies,
Her Daddy was reserved.
But when he saw her helplessness,
He knew that love would win,
And all the days as she grew up,
Was dependent on him.
He saw those little trusting eyes,
Tiny fingers clasp his hands.
He knew his heart was gone for good,
His life given for her demands.
You see them running through the house,
A Daddy playing games.
Now hooked on her dazzling smile,
His life is not the same.
His heart is glad to see his child,
Each morning as she wakes.
Each night as he sees her sleep,
To God he gives his thanks.
